12: The Cerebellum
“Although the cerebellum has many functions, it is primarily associated with movement. Specifically it seems to be involved with facilitating movement by detecting errors that occur in the course of the movement and correcting them.” 2-Minute Neuroscience, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fir-v6EoZNE

People often come in with certain expectations for themselves, and in both situations most of the people who try it once don’t try it again. I explore why this is using some neuroscience knowledge, some social psyschology, and some experience from teaching people how to do both for the first time.
